This refinished Nathan sideboard has been updated in a soft pale sage green, giving it a calm, understated look that works well in both modern and traditional interiors. The original design features gently curved edges and panelled cupboard doors, which add subtle character without feeling overly decorative.
The piece offers a practical layout, with three drawers across the top and spacious cupboards below, making it well suited for storing tableware, linens, or everyday household items. New brass handles have been added, providing a simple contrast against the painted finish and keeping a connection to the sideboard’s mid-century roots.
The paintwork has been carefully applied to create a smooth, durable finish while allowing the shape and craftsmanship of the piece to stand out. It’s a versatile item that would sit comfortably in a dining room, hallway, or living space, adding both storage and a muted touch of colour.

Each of my pieces are reloved in a caring manner - cleaned, sanded and fully prepped but they all come to me with a past life and as such can sometimes show signs of these lives, please bare this in mind when purchasing.
A careful dusting with a lint free cloth which can be slightly damp. As with all wooden and painted furniture a coaster should be used and harsh chemicals avoided.
Hot drinks and wet items can leave marks.
Pieces are waxed or varnished for protection and with the right love and care can last for years
